9. Real news, finally!

I received my first satellite text messages today. I therefore had more news than in our daily 1-2 minutes of exchange by telephone since he left and I wanted to share them with you. We experience stress together, we can live the good times too.

So as expected, it's raining. We've always liked the rain on the boat Louis and I, but this time he told me I wouldn't like it. So that you understand a bit of the context, I have problems with my body temperature. It was recently discovered that I had problems with my thyroid, so I often get cold, especially on the boat. And, as you suspected that a misfortune never comes alone and you never have 2 without 3, well, now we have the 3rd one: the heater does not work! Are you surprised?

There's no iceberg in sight, but... it's foggy! Louis seems to want to leave us on the alert! He says he has sustained winds of 35 knots (64 km/h). He thinks he has arrived or is about to arrive in the Gulf Stream because the waves are all mixed up and the wind seems to be fighting against the current.

"It's very beautiful. I'm sitting in the doorway looking in awe at the beauty and power of nature. Even the dolphins have gone into hiding."

Just before the crossing, we had a new "dodger" and a new "bimini" installed to protect us from the elements and shelter us from the wind and rain. Well, you probably won't believe me, so I'll let Louis tell you verbatim:
