Maybe no place for us in Terceira!

It's hard to take the time to write on vacation. You will tell me that we have all the time in the world, but no, we keep busy on vacation and so no time to write . Especially at 5.

So here it is, with a brief overview of what we have done and seen over the past few days. When I return from vacation, I will be able to explain to you in more detail and give you more advice, for those who might be interested.

So we ended our day on Tuesday at Canto da Doca restaurant where we had to cook our own meat on a superheated plate of volcanic rock.

We were told that we would probably have to leave in 1-2 days because there is a big mini transat event with more than 70 mini sailboats, arriving on Sunday and they have to move all the boats to a different place. We may also not have room in Terceira to winter, as originally planned as the Horta marina called last week for someone else and there was no room left. Let's just say that in terms of adventures and adaptability, we must be adaptable.

Oh, after the restaurant we had a nightcap or two at the famous Peter's Sport Café. A mythical place with a very friendly waiter (João). He made us discover their house gin flavored with passion fruit. He assures us that it's gin, but for gin lovers, let's say it tasted more like rum. I'm less of a gin fan than them so I liked it, I thought it was different and original ;) We'll try to go back in the next few days to leave our flag.
