There's hot wind and hot wind!

Hard night! It was hot, but hot! You have no idea! It's like trying to sleep in an oven or rather like opening an oven all the time. The heat of the wind is like that. No cool breeze. Phew!! Glad Max and Andy didn't have to go through that. Not pleasant at all.

We go to the beach to the right of the marina, in a small bay. I take off my sandals before walking in the sand so as not to get sand in my sandals. I don't know what got into me, but it won't happen again. Louis finds us a place further away. I walk barefoot in the black sand: 2 steps, it's hot, 4 steps, I feel like my feet are burning and not just because it's a little hot, it's crazy hot.

I have difficulty backing up my 4 steps to sit down and put on my sandals. Worst pain on sand or other hot surface I have ever felt. I won't be caught again!

Poor little feet, raw in the sea water! It feels good on the other hand, but they will remain sensitive for a while.

We then walk to the promontory near the beach. There are fishermen nearby who fish with bread. We climb the stairs with a view of the ocean. There are hardly any handrails anywhere and not always very stable. I imagine that people quickly learn to have balance and pay attention.

Arrived at the top, we see an Olympic flame which was used for the relay of the flame for the 1968 Mexico games.

We then return to the boat and relax. We read. I started a book that Max left here without reading it: Kukum. A book that tells a bit about the life of a woman who falls in love and shares her life with an Innu. Really well written. Thanks Max!

We rinse ourselves every 30-40 minutes with the garden hose that we run a little before so as not to burn ourselves from the hose being exposed to sunlight. It gives you an idea! It's not just a little hot.

Around 7-8 p.m., it is a little cooler. We think we might have a good night. Shower with cold water before the chili dinner Louis has made for us. I love his chili! I think it's one of my favorite meals on the boat. For the shower, I know I rinsed in cold water all day, but when it's a little cooler (like 26-30 degrees), the water seems even colder.

We are listening to Gal Gadot's new film on Netflix: Heart of Stone in English. Very good movie!

9:30 p.m.: Oh no! We feel the warm wind coming back. I tell you, it's something. I feel the water dripping from my knees onto my legs. When you sit still and your joints sweat, it gets hot.

We are going to take a walk on the edge of the water. I get a drop in my glasses. Well then! A second! Well, it's raining… 8-10 drops. We are all happy. We go back to the boat because I just want to close the windows so as not to sleep in the water, but it stops.

Then we go back to sit on the low wall in front of the marina. A few more minutes of rain. Yeah! Well, it's not the deluge, it's only a few drops here and there, but it makes us happy.

We return to the boat open the windows. Rinse with cold water before sleeping. As soon as you dry off, you feel like in a furnace. The night will be long, hoping that the wind will change.
